I ended the previous day's chase in Manhattan, KS. High res models indicating an isolated storm going up on the dryline in northwestern Oklahoma with some moisture convergence and modest instability. I had some time to kill in the mornign, so found a scenic hiking trail at a state park nearby.
I headed down toward the Enid, OK area, but the cap held rock solid and storms failed to initiate. I found a quiet spot on a dirt farm road north of town to camp for the night.

Conclusion

Basically a down day to go hiking, but there was an outside chance of the cap breaking in Oklahoma and I had to be there for the next day's play, so I went for it. The cap held though so this was technically a cap bust.
