I was just hoping to get a marginal play on the way home near St. Louis, perhaps squeaking a surprise out of the setup.

My seventh and last night camping in the van on this chase trip.

This is not the first time I've wound up on a ferry during the chase. Storm in the background.

Storms were going up on the Mississippi to my west as I crossed the Illinois.

They failed to do much, however, so I headed on home ending a week long chase trip.

Conclusion

A chase and a bust on the way home, and the end to week long trip without a tornado shot.
