Local severe storms chase in central IL. Noted small updrafts before staying ahead of derecho.

Details
I chased small cells around Gibson City noting updraft bases and some non-rotating lowerings. Then I ran south and east to stay ahead of a derecho that was plowing southeast through the Midwest with raging wind driven hail.
Conclusion
Despite the raging derecho that raked the Midwest, I didn't have much to show for this chase so marked it up as a backyard bust.
